Building Constructive Solutions,LLC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business dedicated to helping small contractors win government contracts and have award winning execution.  Services provided include Design-Build Construction, Construction Management, Consulting, Proposal Development, and Construction Quality Management.

Founded in 2014 by Stuart Perritt, the company name embodies our mission; working with people to achieve successful outcomes. We bring a unique perspective to identify and resolve any issues that are keeping your contracting business from moving forward. What makes us unique in the crowded marketplace of business consultants to construction companies is having extensive experience both as the owner’s representative and general contractor coupled with the ethical delivery of consulting services on a fiduciary basis. We sincerely believe that our single task is providing our clients with the best advice and support that is in their interest.

Building Constructive Solutions is a licensed Class A Contractor in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as licensed to provide Professional Engineering Services. In addition to SDVOSB certification, we are also SWAM certified in Virginia.

Managing the Design Build process on Federal projects is a core capability.  Being both Professional Engineers and General Contractors, We have a thorough understanding of both the design and the construction facets of the process and have demonstrated success at melding the two to achieve a successful result. Based on this project experience, completion of additional training, and a proctored exam, Pete has been designated as a Design Build Professional by the Design Build Institute of America.

The challenge is to get the best advice and services where they are needed most. The smaller contractors need it most but don’t know what they don’t know and don’t have large budgets to retain professional consultants. Building Constructive Solutions bridges that gap by offering a no-risk initial consultation and flexible terms. We can offer consultation by the hour or a fixed fee on a well defined task.

The old adage that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure is valid as ever in the construction industry. You can get good advice early or pay attorneys to try to fix it later. We are much cheaper than attorneys and you can keep that money to build your bonding program.
